TUCSON, Ariz. – The Wildcats won their second conference series of the season on Sunday, beating Oregon State 6-3 to improve to 27-22 (5-16 Pac-12).
Arizona plated six runs on seven hits to outlast the Beavers in the series finale.
Dakota Kennedy continued her four-game hitting streak, going 3-for-4 with a home run and scored three runs.
Allie Skaggs hit her 12th home run of the season.
The Cats opened the game by retiring the side in the top of the first. In the home half of the inning,
Olivia DiNardo brought home Arizona's first run of the game on an RBI single.
In the third inning, the Cats scored three to extend their lead to 4-0. With the bases loaded, a muffed throw from the Beavers allowed Arizona to score its second run.
Devyn Netz followed with a two-RBI single.
Kennedy blasted her ninth home run of the season – a solo shot to right field – in the fourth inning to give Arizona some insurance. In the top of the fifth, Oregon State hit a two-run home run to cut into the Cats' lead but Skaggs answered with her solo homer in the bottom of the inning to give Arizona a 6-2 lead.
In the top of the seventh, Oregon State hit a solo home run to make it a 6-3 game but it wasn't enough for the Beavers.
Devyn Netz picked up her second-straight win to improve to 14-14. She entered in relief for
Sydney Somerndike and allowed three runs. Somerndike started the game and went 2.1 innings, not giving up a run and allowing only two hits.

The Wildcats will close out the regular season at home next weekend against California before hosting the inaugural Pac-12 Softball Tournament from May 10-13. The first game of the Cal series is scheduled for Friday, May 5 at 7 p.m. MST on Pac-12 Networks.
