LOS ANGELES, Calif. – No. 9 Arizona (19-7) fell to No. 4 UCLA, 7-0, on Monday afternoon to close the series.
The Wildcats had three hits from
Jasmine Perezchica,
Allie Skaggs, and
Izzy Pacho, but couldn't score a run.
UCLA got on the board with three-RBI home run from pitcher Megan Faraimo in the second inning. The Bruins added three more in the fourth on a two-RBI home run and an RBI-single. UCLA tacked on another run in the fifth inning to make it 7-0.
Devyn Netz (8-3) pitched the first four innings and gave up six runs.
Madi Elish pitched in relief for Netz, striking out one batter in 2.1 innings of work.
