Wildcats Post Draw at Washington State

PULLMAN, Wash. - Arizona recorded a 0-0 draw in its matchup at Washington State on Sunday, tabbing its first draw in conference play this season.

Hope Hisey tallied four saves in the match and recorded her sixth shutout of the season, good to tie her for eighth-most in a single season in Arizona soccer history. The Tucson, Ariz., native has totaled 20 shutouts over her career, tying her for the second-most in program history.

The Wildcats (6-6-3, 3-4-1 Pac-12) opened the match with a pair of early shots as Megan Chelf and Trinity Dorsey got looks at the goal in the sixth minute. Jordan Hall and Nicole Dallin both took shots in the first half as well, but neither was able to find the back of the net. Gianna Christiansen took a shot in the second half, and Dallin ended the match with four shots to lead the team. It was another balanced offensive effort as five members of the squad took at least one shot.

Arizona totaled three shots on goal on eight total shots while Washington State (8-4-4, 2-3-3 Pac-12). recorded just four shots on goal of its 17 total attempts.
