Wildcats Open Pac-12 Play Against ASU

TUCSON, Ariz. - The 25th ranked Arizona Wildcats welcome in-state rival Arizona State to the McKale Center on Saturday for the Pac-12 opener for both teams. The Wildcats will look to end a two-game losing streak to the Sun Devils and a two-game losing streak this season.

Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. (MST) on the Pac-12 Networks with Ted Robinson, Bill Walton and Cindy Brunson on the call.

He has four double-doubles this year after his 24-point, 11-rebound effort against St. John's, where he was also 8-of-10 from the field.

Freshman Josh Green is averaging 11.8 points and 6.0 rebounds over the last five games. He leads the team with 22 steals and seven games with 2+ steals this season. He ranks 10th in the Pac-12 in steals/game (1.7).

The trio of Mannion (4th, 84.0), Nnaji (8th, 80.6) and Green (10th, 79.6) are all ranked in the top 10 of the Pac-12 in free throw percentage

Senior Chase Jeter had scored in double figures in six straight games - the longest stretch of his career - before a 5-point effort against St. John's the last time out. Over those six games, Jeter is averaged 13.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and shot 70.5 percent from the floor and 76.9 percent at the free throw line.
