Soccer Bounces Back and Pulls Out 1-0 Victory Over San Jose State

Tucson, Ariz. – Arizona bounced back after Friday's loss to Santa Clara, to pull out a 1-0 win at San Jose State on Sunday. The win improves the Wildcats overall record to 5-1 on the year.

30' Forward Jill Aguilera – After taking four out of the first five Arizona shots in the first, Aguilera shot from a lofty distance and scored the Wildcat's only goal of the match. Her goal came off of an impressive corner assist by Forward Hannah Clifford.
Woman of the Match – Jill Aguilera
Aguilera walked out of the Spartans Stadium with seven shots and one goal under her belt. Aguilera's goal was also recognized as the first goal scored by a road team on the Spartan's field this season.
