TEMPE, Ariz.- Fourteenth-ranked Arizona swept the ASU Tournament, going a perfect 4-0 in Tempe, taking down a top-10 team as well as a pair of Pac-12 opponents in the process.

UA opened the weekend with a 5-0 sweep against Abilene Christian, then took down the seventh ranked Cal Poly 4-1. The Cats ended the tournament against two tough Pac-12 foes, beating Utah 5-0, and rival ASU 4-1. 

The Wildcats are currently 17-4 after their perfect 4-0 weekend. Arizona swept its season series vs. the Sun Devils. 

"Weekends like this are born in the practice setting," said head coach Steve Walker. "Our team has never not put forth great effort in the areas of the game that aren't the most glamorous. I'm proud of our growth and mostly how we are competing and playing with great confidence. But we aren't done yet. We have high aspirations to finish out the 2019 campaign."

Arizona was led this weekend by Natalie Anselmo and Madison Rigdon. The pair won all four matches this weekend, bringing their season record to 13-0 as a duo. 

Next Up, Arizona will host its final tournament of the season at Bear Down Beach. Fans are encouraged to come out and support for senior night as we honor our Wildcats for all of their hard work.
