CHICAGO – Arizona (3-0) was dominant from the get go as they ran past Chicago State (0-3) by a score of 82-50 on Tuesday night in Chicago.
Aari McDonald was incredibly efficient, scoring 24 points on just 9-11 shooting and made all six of her free throw attempts.

The Wildcats shot 51% from the field and held the Cougars to 26% shooting. Arizona scored 44 points off of turnovers and got 41 points from the bench, as opposed to Chicago State's one bench point.

Arizona got out on the break early and often, scoring 29 fastbreak points.

Helena Pueyo – The freshman stuffed the stat sheet, scoring 11 points to go along with seven steals, five rebounds and three assists. Seven steals is the most by a Wildcat since McDonald had eight last season vs. Colorado. The Spaniard scored in double-figures for the first time in her career tonight.

21 – Arizona had 21 steals tonight, the 10th-most in a game in school history. Pueyo had seven while Dominique also had a career-high six steals.
