TUCSON, Ariz. - No. 21/17 Arizona outscored Chico State by 10 in the second half on the way to a 74-65 win in an exhibition game at the McKale Center on Friday night.
Redshirt senior
Chase Jeter led four Wildcats in double figures scoring, finishing with 17 points on 6-of-10 shooting from the floor and 5-of-6 at the free throw line. He also added seven rebounds. Junior
Ira Lee registered a double-double with 10 points and 14 rebounds.
Freshman
Josh Green added 11 points and three steals and freshman
Nico Mannion chipped in wih 10 points, five rebounds and six assists.
The Wildcats outrebounded Chico State by a 44-35 margin and also owned a 40-24 advantage in points in the paint.
Arizona will open the 2019-20 regular season on Wednesday, Nov. 6 at home against Northern Arizona. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on the Pac-12 Networks.
