TUCSON, Ariz. -- Arizona volleyball completed its sweep of the Wildcat Classic on Saturday with a four-set victory over UC Davis (25-22, 22-25, 25-20, 25-18) to take home the tournament title.

The victory punctuated Arizona's 11-1 nonconference season. UA will now turn its attention to Pac-12 play which begins on Thursday when the Wildcats host Arizona State in McKale Center, where UA is 6-0 this year.

Arizona held UC Davis (8-4) to .133 hitting in the match; it outdug (82-78) and outblocked (10-7) the Aggies in the match. Five different Wildcats had double-digit digs, led by Emi Pua'a, who had a career-high 19 in her first start as the Wildcats' libero in the absence of Makenna Martin, who was sick. Paige Whipple had a season-high 18 digs, one shy of her career high, Julia Patterson and Kendra Dahlke had 13 apiece and Malina Kalei Ua had a career-best 11 digs.

Patterson (47 assists, 13 digs), Dahlke (16 kills, 13 digs) and Whipple (14 kills, 18 digs) all had double-doubles in the match.

Devyn Cross posted another monster match with 12 kills on .391 hitting and a team-best six blocks. 

The Cats led the first set by six early before UC Davis stormed back to even the first set at 11. The teams went back-and-forth until UC Davis ripped off three straight points to take a 19-17 lead. UA responded with three straight of their own to take back control of the frame. UA would take the opener, 25-22. Kendra Dahlke had eight of UA's 16 kills in the set.

The Aggies responded with a 25-22 win in the second set, fending off a late Wildcat rally, to even up the match at 1.

Arizona won the third set, 25-20, to take a 2-1 lead in the match.

The Cats closed out the match with a 25-18 victory in the fourth., Paige Whipple had five kills and five digs in the deciding set.
