PALO ALTO, Calif. -- Arizona fell 2-1 in eight innings in the regular season finale to Stanford.
Arizona will now await its postseason fate. The bracket is announced on Sunday at 7 p.m. MST.
Stanford scored its first run of the series on a two-out single following a pair of walks in the bottom of the first.
Arizona answered in the top of the fifth with a two-out home run from
Alyssa Palomino.
Stanford won the game on a sacrifice fly in the eighth.
