EUGENE, Ore. – After an overtime victory at Oregon State on Thursday night in Corvallis, the Arizona Wildcats will conclude their final Pac-12 road trip of the season with a primetime ESPN date with Oregon. UA has not swept the Oregon road trip since the 2008-09 season.

The Arizona Wildcats head south to Eugene following their 75-65 overtime over Oregon State in Corvallis. Deandre Ayton finished the game with 19 points, 12 rebounds, four assists and three blocks. Rawle Alkins contributed 16 points and eight rebounds in the victory, including a pair of free throws with 14 seconds remaining in regulation to send the game to overtime. Alkins also hit a pair of three-pointers in the overtime period.

Deandre Ayton's 12 rebounds in the win at Oregon State gave him his 18th double-double of the season, putting him in a tie for the third-most double-doubles in a season with Bob Elliott's 18 double-doubles in the 1975-76. His dozen boards versus the Beavers also gave Ayton 306 for the season, which is the new UA freshman record. The top spot was previously held by Aaron Gordon in 2013-14 with 303 rebounds.

Arizona will look to avenge its 58-85 defeat the last time it played in Matthew Knight Arena on Feb. 4, 2017. Oregon hit 10 of their first 13 three-pointers, including two separate runs of five consecutive makes, en route to the victory. Rawle Alkins had one of his best games of his career in the loss in Eugene with 16 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals.

UA's quest for a conference championship would secure at least a share of the regular season title with a win on Saturday. The Wildcats enter their game at Oregon with a two-game lead over USC with three Pac-12 games remaining. Prior to this season, Arizona had won four regular season Pac-12 championships and two Pac-12 Tournament titles since the 2010-11 season.

A concentrated effort on the glass has paid dividends for the Wildcats as they have posted a combined +70 advantage in rebounding in their last seven games. A byproduct of the increased rebounding prowess has been a 24-point advantage in second chance points over opponents during the seven-game streak.
