TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Arizona Wildcats will continue their five-game homestand Wednesday night when they welcome in the Montana Grizzlies to McKale Center. The Griz improved to 6-3 this week with a win over North Dakota State, while Arizona stands at 7-4. The game will be televised by the Pac-12 Networks with Ted Robinson and Bill Walton on the call.

- Arizona will welcome Montana to McKale Center for the first time since 1995 on Wednesday evening. The Wildcats are coming off just their fourth home loss since the start of the 2013-14 season. Arizona is 87-4 at home in its last 91 games.
- Sean Miller will coach his 500th career game Wednesday night against the Grizzlies. Miller is 374-125 for his career and 254-78 at Arizona.
- Sophomore guard Brandon Randolph is averaging 16.9 points per game through 11 contests this year. He's the first Arizona guard to score in double figures in his first 11 games since Hassan Adams in 2005-06. He's also just one of four players in the Pac-12 this season to have scored in double figures in each of his team's games.
- Randolph's scoring improvement of 13.2 points per game from last season is the best of any Power 5 player in the country. It would also be the best by any Arizona player since at least the 1976-77 season. Randolph leads the Pac-12 in free throw percentage at .923 and is 13th in the country.
- Freshman guard Brandon Williams has 44 assists in 11 games this season, leading all Pac-12 freshmen. In six home games this season, Williams has 31 assists to just six turnovers. Williams is second on the team in scoring at 11.9 points per game.
- Redshirt junior center Chase Jeter has taken 17 charges in 11 games this season.
- Redshirt junior guard Dylan Smith is averaging 8.4 points per game over his last five contests after averaging 3.0 points in his first six games.
- Senior guard Justin Coleman has converted 15 straight free throws and Brandon Randolph has hit 19 straight. They are first and second in the Pac-12 in free throw percentage.

RANDOLPH'S IMPROVEMENT
Sophomore
Brandon Randolph has started his sophomore season in style. Randolph has scored in double figures in all 11 games this season and is averaging 16.9 points per game. He's one of four players in the Pac-12 to have scored in double figures in each of his team's games this season, joining Luguentz Dort, Tres Tinkle and Kris Wilkes. As a freshman last season, Randolph played in 31 games, drawing four starting assignments. He averaged 3.7 points per game, scoring a total of 116 points. Randolph's scoring increase of 13.2 points per game is the biggest of any player in a Power 5 Conference. Jordan Nwora from Louisville is second with an increase of 12.0. It's also the largest increase from one season to the next by any Arizona player since at least 1977. The previous best was a a 12-point increase by Khalid Reeves in 1993-94. Randolph has also surpassed his rebounding total as a freshman. He had 26 rebounds last season and already has 31 this year. JETER STARTS STRONG
Chase Jeter arrived at Arizona prior to the 2017-18 season after transferring from Duke, but had to sit out the season per NCAA rules. In his first 11 games as a Wildcat, Jeter has been a presence in the paint and a threat down low. Jeter is averaging 11.8 points per game and 7.3 rebounds a contest with three double-doubles. He's scored in double figures in eight of the 11 games. He registered a career-high 19 points against Alabama and grabbed nine rebounds, missing a double-double by one board. In the first game of the Maui Invitational, Jeter had a career-high 12 rebounds to go with 10 points. He finished the tournament with a 14-point outing against Auburn. Jeter also played 30 or more minutes twice in Maui against Iowa State and Auburn, marking the first two times in his career (including Duke) he played 30 or more minutes. He played a career-high 34 minutes at Alabama, going 9 for 16 from the field.

Jeter has taken at least one charge in every game this season and at least two in four of the 11 games. Jeter has taken more than half of Arizona's charges this season. As a team, the Wildcats have drawn 32 charges, with Jeter drawing 17.
AKOT IMPROVING AS A STARTER

Emmanuel Akot came off the bench for the first six games this year for the Wildcats before being inserted into the starting lineup. In the six games as a reserve, Akot averaged 2.8 points per game, 2.7 rebounds a contest and was 1 of 9 from 3-point range and 6 of 20 overall from the floor. In five games as a starter, Akot has seen an increase in production. He's averaging 5.4 points per game, 3.2 rebounds per game and is 4 for 9 from 3-point range and 11 of 27 overall from the floor. He's averaging 22.2 minutes per game as a starter, up from 16.9 as a reserve.
