Cats Draw 3-3 with Cal

TUCSON, Ariz. – After a full day of rain, the University of Arizona Women's soccer team tied with the California Bears with a score 3-3 Saturday night in Tucson.
 
Cal's first goal came in the 16th minute, then Amanda Porter delivered in the 23rd minute to tie the game 1-1. The Bears looked promising after knocking in a header just before the end of the first half and scoring on a penalty kick at the beginning of the second, but the Cats were not done. First, a goal from Jada Talley in the 52nd minute followed by Morgan McGarry in the 75th. After two overtime periods, neither side could break the tie.
 
The Cats are back at Mulcahy Stadium next weekend to host Washington and Washington State for their final home matches of the season.

84' - The Cats were relentless in their pursuit of a fourth goal, creating several good chances in front of the net.

93' - Kennedy Kieneker's shot took a deflection and forced another diving stop from the Cal keeper.
 
98' - Back to back corner kicks for the Cats lead to some good chances but no golden goal.

107' - McGarry plays another ambitious corner into the box but the keeper managed to punch it away.
