The Wildcats enter Saturday's showdown with Utah on the heels of an 80-71 victory over the Colorado Buffaloes on Thursday. Arizona used 69.6 percent shooting in the second half to break a halftime tie for the win. Allonzo Trier (23 points) and Deandre Ayton (20 points) led UA in scoring. It was the sixth time this season the duo have scored 20 or more points in the same game. The win was secured by Arizona's ultra-efficient 95.7 percent free throw shooting as the team missed only one of its 23 attempts. It was the program's best free throw percentage in a game since shooting a perfect 16 of 16 at California on Feb. 1, 2014.

UA has won 11 consecutive games in McKale Center with a home record of 134-13 (.916) during the Sean Miller era of 2009 to present, which includes a mark of 67-9 (.882) in Pac-12 home games. The Wildcats' record of 78-2 in Tucson since the start of the 2013-14 season is the best home record in the nation during that span.

Junior Allonzo Trier has tallied four games of 20 or more points in his last five appearances. His 21.0 points per game average during those five games has been fueled by his 31-of-34 (.912) shooting at the free throw line. By comparison, the Seattle native eclipsed the 20-point mark on four occasions in the 11 games prior to his current five-game run.

Arizona is on a five-game win streak entering Saturday with 14 wins in its last 15 games going back to November.

Head coach Sean Miller's head-to-head record with Utah is 11-1 (.917), which is his second highest winning percentage against a Pac-12 foe. Miller is a perfect 15-0 versus Stanford since arriving in Tucson in 2009.

Saturday marks the fourth consecutive weekend day game for the Wildcats. UA is 65-23 (.739) in day games since the start of the 2009-10 season. Those 65 victories include eight wins in the Wildcats' last ten games to tip off before 5 p.m. locally.

Thursday's win over Colorado pushed Sean Miller's conference record to 114-38, good for a Pac-12 winning percentage of 75.0 percent. His .750 intra-conference mark ranks third in the history of the Pac-12 Conference.

Senior Dusan Ristic is coming off his best two games versus the Utes of his career. Ristic is averaging a near double-double of 14.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game in the last two seasons against Utah. The 7-footer averaged 2.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game in three appearances versus Utah as a freshman and sophomore.
