Stoian, Siegele and Kieneker Score as Arizona Defeats New Mexico 3-2

TUCSON, Ariz. – The University of Arizona women's soccer team defeated New Mexico on Saturday afternoon by a score of 3-2. Kennedy Kieneker found the back of the net first for Arizona, followed by Taryn Siegele who earned her first goal for the team. Stoian got the final tally for the Wildcats to put away the game. The Wildcats are now 4-0-0 in their spring season of play.

70' – A corner kick for Arizona led to a shot for Stoian hard and low, but Johnson made the save.

72' – Arizona scored again, this time from Stoian. Brascia passed to Stoian at the top of the box and she made a move then finished to the bottom left corner.

81' – Samantha Falasco fouled in the box and gave the Lobos a penalty kick. Lynch scored again to bring the Lobos within one. Arizona led 3-2.

90' – Brascia was given a yellow card.

Arizona is back in action for their final game of the spring season on Sunday, April 23rd in Tucson, Ariz. against New Mexico State at 12 p.m. MST.
