  • Saturday marks the third nationally-ranked opponent of the season for Arizona in the shape of No. 13 Oregon. The Wildcats have split their two games against fellow AP Top 25 teams this season, dropping a 69-62 decision to No. 8 Gonzaga on Dec. 3 inside the Staples Center before winning at No. 3 UCLA, 96-85 two weeks ago. UA has won 12 of its last 15 regular season games against nationally-ranked foes.
  • The Wildcats opened the Oregon trip with a 71-54 win at Oregon State as Allonzo Trier scored a game-high 18 points, which included five of seven (.714) shooting from inside the arc. UA was +13 on the glass over the Beavers and forced 15 OSU turnovers. Arizona was down 27-29 at halftime in Corvallis before opening the second half on a 19-5 run in the first 5:56 of frame.
  • Arizona has not faced two teams ranked in the top 15 in true road games in the same conference season since the 2006-07 season. That year saw the Wildcats play at No. 3 UCLA before traveling to Eugene to face No. 13 Oregon three weeks later, which are the exact same teams and rankings of this season's two top-15 away games in Pac-12 play.
  • Sophomore Allonzo Trier is averaging 14.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists in his four games this season. Trier's 15 assists come on just three turnovers. In his freshman season, Trier has 31 assists to 52 turnovers in 27 games. Trier has set and reset his career high in assists and defensive rebounds in his four games in 2016-17.
  • UA enters Saturday's match-up with Oregon with a perfect road mark of 6-0, which makes Arizona one of only three programs in the nation without a true road loss. Gonzaga (6-0) and Maryland (6-0) are the other two schools with perfect away records.
  • Parker Jackson-Cartwright matched his third-highest scoring game of the season with nine points in the win in Corvallis after going scoreless in his previous two games. The point guard's damage versus the Beavers came in part two a pair of made three-pointers. PJC has hit four of his last six treys this season after starting the season 5/29 (.172) from beyond the arc.
  • After earning a record of 18-15 (.545) in Oregon's original home court, McArthur Court, from 1979 to 2010, the Wildcats are just 1-2 inside the new Matthew Knight Arena since it opened in 2011.
  • In 13 head-to-head meetings during the Sean Miller era of Arizona Basketball (2009-10 to present), Arizona has a record of 8-5. UA's margin of victory in the eight wins is 17.0 points with an average margin of defeat of 5.4 points in the five losses.
