  • Arizona enters its trip to Los Angeles riding a ten-game winning streak. It marks the program's first double-digit consecutive win streak since winning 14 straight games in February and March of 2015. The current streak is UA's fifth winning streak of ten or more games under head coach Sean Miller. Prior to the Wildcats' five double-digit win streaks during the eight seasons of the Sean Miller era, the program had only five winning streaks reach double figures in the 16 seasons prior to Miller's arrival in Tucson.
  • UA's tenth consecutive win came in a 91-75 victory over Arizona State on Jan. 12 inside McKale Center. Lauri Markkanen scored a game-high 30 points versus the Sun Devils, becoming the first Arizona freshman to score 30 points in a game since Jerryd Bayless tallied 31 against Stanford on Feb. 16, 2008. UA tallied 25 assists on 34 made field goals (.735) on Thursday night as well. It was the most assists by Arizona in a game since also recording 25 versus Charleston Southern on Nov. 11, 2012. The Wildcats have not recorded more than 25 assists in a game since posting 26 versus Stanford on March 7, 2009.
  • These two teams will meet in the Galen Center for the first time since their historic quadruple overtime game back on Jan. 9, 2016. The 101-103 loss to the Trojans came in the first four-overtime game in Arizona history and just the fifth game to eclipse two overtime periods.
  • Freshman forward Lauri Markkanen scored his 30 points against Arizona State in just 30 minutes of action. Entering the USC game, he has scored 52 points in 52 minutes in his last two games on 60.0 percent shooting from the field (18 of 30).
  • The Wildcats will look to turn their history in Los Angeles around this week. Arizona has just two wins in its last three trips to the LA schools.
  • Parker Jackson-Cartwright's play in five games since returning from an ankle injury has included an efficient 30 assists to five turnovers in just 23.6 minutes player per game.
