TUCSON--Carrie Leto tripled to right-center in the bottom of the sixth to cap a six-run inning for Northwestern and give the Wildcats a mercy-rule 8-0 victory over the Lady Razorbacks of Arkansas in Arizona's Pepsi Softball Classic tournament.

Northwestern scored twice in the first inning on a bases-loaded walk by Jamie Dotson and a ground-out RBI by Robyn Pettinger.

In the sixth, Leto's hit capped a rally marred by three Arkansas errors, causing four of the runs to be unearned.

Arkansas dropped to 5-6, while Northwestern improved to 4-2.
