Prep: A four-year letterwinner at Turlock High School under head coach Amber Lugo … Named a Prep Volleyball All-American in as a sophomore and junior … Selected to the Cal-High Sports All-State team in 2017 … Honored as the league MVP as a senior and league setter of the year as a sophomore and junior … First-team all-conference performer from freshman year to senior year … Received the Academic Scholar Award and had a GPA above 4.0 all four years … Collected 1,700 assists in her high school career … Led team to a league championship and state semifinal appearance as a senior … Competed for Rage Volleyball Club and won the 2015 15-Open National Champion and was the tournament MVP … Also ran track and holds the Turlock record for the 400 meter dash and 4x100 relay.
 
Personal: Born Feb. 18, 2000 to Craig and Josette Handy in Modesto, California … Has a younger brother (Ryan) … Plans to major in speech language and hearing pathology and hopes to pursue a career in speech pathology … In her free time, likes to go to the lake or hike in Yosemite … Chose Arizona because of the “great athletic and academic opportunities.”
