Played high school basketball at Eastside Catholic in Seattle, Washington … in a shortened 2020-21 season, he led Eastside in assists … as a sophomore at Eastside, he averaged 12.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 2.5 steals while shooting 48 percent from the floor … his brother, Jaylen Nowell, was the Pac-12 Player of the Year in 2018-19 while playing for Washington and is currently a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves.
