Arizona Heads to New Mexico for Final Exhibition Match

TUCSON, Ariz. – Volleyball is heading to New Mexico for the final exhibition match of preseason on Saturday, August 22 at 12 p.m. MST at The Pit - Powered by Nusenda.
The Wildcats played the first exhibition of the season against Grand Canyon on Wednesday and won the first two sets before the match was cut short due to a power outage in McKale Center at ALKEME Arena. Senior outside hitter Destiny Ndam-Simpson led Arizona with 12 kills and the Cats tallied seven blocks against the Lopes.
Arizona's season officially begins at the Wildcat Classic next Friday, August 28 against Prairie View A&M in McKale Center at ALKEME Arena. The Cats will face Tarleton State on Saturday, August 29 before closing out the tournament against UC Santa Barbara on Sunday, August 30.
