Arizona Men's Golf Heads to Texas for Abilene Christian Intercollegiate

Granbury, Texas – Arizona Men's Golf returns to action this Monday through Wednesday, October 19-21, as the Wildcats compete in the inaugural Abilene Christian Intercollegiate. The three-day event will take place at Halbert National at Camp David in Granbury, Texas.

The Wildcats will compete in a nine-team field featuring Abilene Christian, Houston, Michigan, Missouri, Rice, SMU, Texas A&M and Tulsa.

The tournament will feature 54 holes of stroke play, with 18 holes played each day. Competition begins Monday, October 19, with tee times scheduled between 9 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. MST. The event will be televised live on Golf Channel each day from 2-5 p.m. MST.

Tournament Format

The Abilene Christian Intercollegiate will feature three rounds of traditional stroke play, with 18 holes contested each day. The tournament will be played at Halbert National at Camp David, a par-72 course measuring up to 7,423 yards for the men's competition.

The event will feature nine men's teams competing over 54 holes, with the final round scheduled for Wednesday, October 21.

Previous Outings This Season

Arizona opened the 2026-27 season with a 12th-place finish at the Sahalee Players Championship in Sammamish, Washington. Senior Tony Xiong led the Wildcats with a tie for 20th at 8-over par, while sophomore William Wistrand finished at 10-over par.

The Wildcats followed their season opener with a ninth-place finish at the William H. Tucker Intercollegiate in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before traveling to Salt Lake City for the Big 12 Match Play Tournament.

Arizona will look to build on its fall tournament experience as the Wildcats return to stroke-play competition in Texas.
