
Women Take Eighth, Men Take Ninth at Pac-12 Championships

KOLFAX, Wash. – The men's and women's cross country teams competed in the 2015 Pac-12 Championships in Colfax, Wash. at the Colfax Golf Course on Friday, Oct. 30. The women took eighth place with 237 points while the men took ninth place with 271 points.
Molly Callahan was Arizona's top finisher for the second time this season as she took 31st place with a 6K time of 20:44.2. She was able to take off about 13 seconds off the last 6K race she competed in.
Addi Zerrenner earned a 38th-place finish with a time of 20:56.7, Claire Green clocked a time of 21:02.2, good for a 43rd-place finish, Kayla Ferron finished in 68th place with a time of 21:43.6, Kirsten Vergara took 86th place with a time of 22:10.2, Kate Penney clocked a time of 22:20.3 and finished in 90th, and McKenna Gaffney rounded it out with a time of 22:45.4 and a 95th-place finish.
Collins Kibet was Arizona's top finisher as he took 36th place with a time of 24:18. His time of 24:18 is a season-best in the 8K for him. Kibet has now been Arizona's top finisher four times in a row.
Sam Willis took 61st place with a mark of 25:04.6, Patrick Leary finished in 73rd with a time of 25:40.7, Jeff Gautreau clocked a time of 25:59.3 and took 76th place, Seamus White finished in 77th with a time of 26:05.7, Matthew Beer finished with a time of 26:08.8 and took 78th place, and Jonas Legernes rounded it out by finishing in 79th with a time of 26:33.
Up next are the NCAA West Regionals, which will take place on Friday, Nov. 13 in Seattle, Wash. starting at 10 a.m. MST.
