Cats Place Second in Desert’s Edge Collegiate Cup

LOMA, Colo. - The Wildcats took second place at the Desert's Edge Collegiate Cup this Sunday morning in Loma, Colorado behind TCU.
The Wildcats had a very strong performance, despite many of the athletes not being able to attend the meet due to them competing in the World Triathlon Championships in Spain. Molly Lakustiak came in first with a time of 1:02:29 and Ruth Pardy came in just behind placing third with a time of 1:02:45. Ellison Wolfe broke the top 10 as well coming in ninth with a time of 1:04:04. Mia Wentzy placed 19th with a time of 1:06:32 and Rylan Lonergan finished in 23rd with a time of 1:07:12.
