Tucson, Ariz. – The Arizona Wildcats (8-3, 2-2) recorded their seventh clean sheet of the season against 15th-ranked Washington State, winning 1-0 on the road.

Play of the Match – First Time For Everything
Forward Kelcey Cavarra is the hero of the night scoring the game winning goal in the 81' that prevented the Cats from going into overtime. Defender Hallie Pearson took a daring corner kick that soared right to Defender Samantha Falasco, giving Cavarra the perfect opportunity to take the shot. The close range goal was Cavarra's first of the 2019 season, and it could not have come at a better time.
Women of the Match – Kelcey Cavarra and Hope Hisey
Goalkeeper Hope Hisey has now started every Arizona Pac-12 Conference game of the season, gaining 18 saves in just four matches. Against No. 15 Washington State she added another four to her growing list, all of which were epic, noteworthy saves.
Forward Kelcey Cavarra made a beautiful game-winning goal in the 81' finally putting the Wildcats on the board against Washington State. After a collective 852 minutes on the pitch this season she made her first goal of the 2019 season.
