
No. 6 Wildcats 14th at NCAA Women's Golf

TUCSON - No. 6 University of Arizona Wildcat women's golf is in 14th place on day three of the NCAA Championships. Friday's third round play was suspended after a one hour and 50 minute weather delay and will wrap at 7:30 a.m. CT on Saturday for the remaining teams.
Held at Texas A&M's Traditions Golf Club, competition will take place Wed.-Sat., May 18-21. The 72-hole tournament will be played over the course of four days with 18 holes played each day. Traditions Golf Club is a par 72 set at 6,260 yards.
The Wildcats sit in 14th place with a first-round score of 304 (+16), a day two showing of 295 (+7) and a day three carding of 305 (+17) for a total of 904 (+23). No. 2 UCLA, with third round holes to play Saturday, leads with a 584 (+13). Also with holes to finish tomorrow, No. 4 Purdue is in second place with a 587 (+19). No. 7 LSU and No. 5 Virginia are tied for third. The Tigers will finish round three on Saturday.
No. 81 senior Alejandra Llaneza sits in a tie for 31st place with scores of 77 (+5), 72 (E) and 74 (+2) for a total of 223 (+7). No. 52 junior Margarita Ramos sits at tied for 64th. She shot rounds of 74 (+2), 77 (+5) and 77 (+5) for a total of 228 (+12). No. 19 junior Isabelle Boineau is in a tie for 68th place. She collected rounds of 80 (+8), 72 (E) and 77 (+5) for a total of 229 (+13).
Junior Nikki Koller has a three-round score of 231 (+15) with individual rounds of 75 (+3), 74 (+2) and 82 (+10). She sits in a tie for 75th place. No. 79 sophomore Kyndall Ardoin rounds out the Wildcat five in a tie for 88th place. She has rounds of 78 (+6), 78 (+6) and 77 (+5) for a tally of 233 (+17).
