McRann Falls in Pac-10 Finals

Susan McRann climbed her way to the finals of the 2011 Pacific-10 Championships invitational singles. She defeated teammate and second seed Kim Stubbe in the semifinals to represent Arizona.
In the finals, McRann battled the fourth seeded Alice Duranteau from California. The freshman from Dublin, Ireland fell 6-3, 7-5 to Duranteau. To view the invitational singles draw, click here.
The Wildcats will play next at the NCAA regionals on May 13. Locations and times will be announced on Tuesday, May 3. The selection show will air at 5 p.m. E.T. on ESPN-U. Brackets will be available on www.ncaa.com and www.ncaa.org 30 minutes after the selection show.
