2015, 2016 Pac-12 All-Academic Honorable Mention
2016: Pimienta started 16 games in her senior campaign and competed in 18… She had just under 1,500 minutes of play… Took six shots, three of which were on frame… Played the full match in eight games this season to lead the team… Made countless goal-stopping plays on the defensive half of the pitch.
2015: Pimienta competed in 21 out of the 22 matches while starting 20 of them … The Tucson native missed the San Diego State match due to injury, but other than that, she rarely left the pitch … She logged the second-most minutes of anyone else on Arizona with 1,770 minutes … She had three shots with two on frame… She also earned a single assist on Jessica Nelson’s goal against Northern Colorado in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
2014: Pimienta played a vital role for the Wildcats in 2014, playing all 21 matches and starting 19 of them … It was the first time that Pimienta had ever played as a fullback in her life but she did a remarkable job … In 10 of the 21 matches, Pimienta played all 90 minutes (or more) for the Wildcats … In 1,600 mintues of action, Pimienta took four shots.
2013: Participated in eight games … Registered a total of four shots with one on goal.
Prep: Four-year letterwinner at Marana High School … Team captain junior and senior years … Team’s Most Valuable Player both junior and senior years … First-team all-city as a junior and senior … First-team all-state as a senior, second-team all-state as a sophomore and junior and honorable mention as a freshman … Led team to two-time state semifinals … Played club for Tucson Soccer Academy … Honor Roll student.
