Prior to Arizona
- Transferred to Arizona after a very successful three seasons at Oklahoma
- Went 51-2 at Oklahoma, good for a .962 career winning percentage, best in Sooner history
- Had a 1.61 career ERA over 295.0 innings at Oklahoma with 355 strikeouts compared to just 55 walks in her career
- In 2019, was named first-team NFCA All-Central Region after going 19-1 with a 1.25 ERA, holding opponents to a .159 batting average with 159 strikeouts in 117.2 innings; she ranked sixth nationally in hits allowed per seven innings (3.87), 11th in ERA (1.25) and 11th in strikeouts per seven innings (9.5) as a junior
- Pitched in a pair of Women's College World Series, including in 2017, when she was the winning pitcher in Oklahoma's national-title-clinching-win over Florida
- In 2017, was a finalist for NFCA Freshman of the Year and a Big 12 all-freshman honoree
- Prepped at Saugus high school, where she owns the school's all-time strikeout record
- Played for the OC Batbusters in travel ball, who she helped lead to back-to-back-to-back Premier Girls Fastpitch National Championships in 2013, 2014 and 2015.

- Daughter of Gama and Valerie Lopez
- Has two sisters, Makayla and Alexis and one brother, Gavin
- Uncle, Roland De la Maza, played baseball at Sacramento State, saw time in the Cleveland Indians organization and appeared in a major league game for the Kansas City Royals
- Cousin, Andru Cardenas, play baseball at Chico State
- Cousin, Ruben Cardenas, plays baseball at Cal State Fullerton.
