Freshman (2024-25)
- Tallied 17 singles wins in 2024–25, including victories over Michigan State and Loyola Marymount
- Completed the season undefeated in spring singles play (7–0)
- Played a key role in securing the Big 12 Tournament Championship for Arizona
A standout native of Toronto, Canada, Matthias comes to the University of Arizona as a top raising junior player in the world. He has achieved an ITF career high of 137 as well as a UTR of 12.50. In his penultimate junior tournament, Kask defeated the number 1 player in the world at the J500 in Merida, Mexico. As a junior, Matthias has won several ITF tournaments including the J4 in Skopje, Macedonia and the J60 in Tallin, Estonia. Most recently, Matthias has been competing in future events and has achieved an ATP ranking of 1957.
Personal: Son of Ove and Laire. Kask has been an athlete his whole life, he has played soccer, basketball, hockey, volleyball.
