Track and Field Hosts Jim Click Shootout
On Thursday, competition begins at 11 a.m. MST, Friday's competition starts at 10 a.m. and Saturday's meet will begin at 9 a.m.

T&F To Host Willie Williams Classic
On Thursday, strictly high school compeition occurs, beginnning at 3 p.m. MST. On Friday, the collegiate portion of the meet starts at 3 p.m. and the high school portion starts at 10 a.m. On Saturday, both college and high school will begin at 10 a.m.

MPSF Championships Await Track Cats
The No. 14 men's and No. 11 women's track and field teams will begin competition on Friday at 12 p.m. PST and at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday.
BEFORE ARIZONA: He attended Lane Community College in Eugene, Ore. for one year and clocked season-best times of 10.79 in the 100-meter dash and 21.78 in the 200-meter dash ... He earned NJCAA All-America accolades in the 100 meters, 200 meters and the 4x100-meter relay team ... He was the NWAACC Champion in the 100 meters.
HIGH SCHOOL: A graduate of Sunset High School, Helms was named team captain and team MVP his senior year ... He earned first-team all-conference, all-district and all-state accolades his senior year ... For his senior year, Helms clocked season-best times of 21.54 in the 200 meters and 49.20 in the 400 meters ... His time of 21.54 in the 200 meters is a school record ... He is also in the record books for his work on the 4x200-meter relay team and the 4x400-meter relay team.
PERSONAL: He is the son of Michael and Sara Helms and was born in Eugene, Ore. ... He has one brother, Tyler and one sister, Alexis ... He is pursuing a degree in business management.
