Arizona Swimming and Diving Earns Two Top-10 Rankings

TUCSON, Ariz. -
Arizona’s nationally-recognized swimming and diving team earned two top-10 rankings in the Division I poll, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America announced on Wednesday. The poll had the Wildcat men standing at No. 3 and the women at No. 8.
So far this season, the men have recorded wins over UNLV and Wisconsin, while the women have posted wins over UNLV, Wisconsin and Kansas.
In the men’s poll, the lone teams in front of Arizona are Michigan at No. 1 and Texas at No. 2. The women are preceded by Georgia (No. 1), defending national champion California (No. 2), Texas (No. 3), Florida (No. 4), USC (No. 5) Auburn (No. 6) and Stanford (No. 7).
The Pac-12 is well-represented in the poll with four teams in the top-eight in both the men’s and women’s divisions.
According to the poll, the Wildcat women will face two top-25 teams this weekend, facing No. 5 USC on Friday, Nov. 11 at 3 p.m. and No. 25 UCLA on Saturday, Nov. 12 at 11 a.m.
