EVANSTON, Ill. - In the latest CSCAA / CollegeSwimming.com poll, the Arizona women's swimming and diving team is currently second in the nation just behind first-place Georgia. The women garnered nine first-place votes and 1,041 total votes.

The Arizona men, not to be outdone, ranked in at No. 4 overall in the country with nine first-place votes to go with a total of 782 votes.

Georgia, the top-rated team on the women's side, is followed closely by the Wildcats at No. 2, Stanford is ranked third, followed by Texas at No. 4 and California at No. 5.

On the men's side, Texas is the top-ranked team followed Stanford at No. 2, California at No. 3 and the Wildcats in at No. 4.

Both teams finished their fall semester with several standout performances at the Texas Invitational two weeks ago in Austin.

The women's team will resume its dual meet schedule on Jan. 8 against NAU and Oregon State at the Hillenbrand Aquatic Center at 2 p.m. The men will compete against SMU on Jan. 9 at home at 2 p.m.
