Divers Complete First Day at Zone ?E? Championships
Oklahoma City, Okla. ?- The Arizona men’s and women’s diving teams completed the first day of competition at the NCAA Zone E Diving Regional at Oklahoma Community College Thursday.
Senior Tiffany Manning led the women as she finished fourth in the 1-meter competition with 580.95 points. Junior Megan MacDonald finished 24th, respectively, in the event with a total of 211.20 points.
Senior John Collier was the only Wildcat to place in the 3-meter event for the men, as he finished sixth with 663.10 points.
Day two of the three-day event begins tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. (CST). The women will take part in the 3-meter finals and the men in the 1-meter finals.
