TUCSON, Ariz.- Fourth-ranked Jewel Peterson outlasted Arizona freshman Uzma Khan, 7-5, 6-2, pacing the Trojans to a, 9-0, victory Saturday at the Robson Tennis Center.

Highlighting doubles play for USC (3-1), the duo of freshman Tiffany Brymer and senior Kara Warkentin upset the eighth-ranked Wildact duo of junior Michelle Gough and sophomore Lindsay Blau, 8-4.

Arizona returns to action Sunday, Feb. 6 when it plays host to Texas-El Paso in a non-conference match-up.
