Wildcats in Fifth Place at Stanford Intercollegiate Tournament - Tulsa leads team and individual race
STANFORD, Calif., - The second ranked University of Arizona women's golf team slips one spot to fifth place at the Stanford/Pepsi Women's Intercollegiate tournament with a team score of 21-over-par 597. The tournament is being held at the Stanford Golf Course(Par 72, 6,154 yards).
Senior Jill Gomric is tied for ninth place with a 2-over-par 146, while junior Jenna Daniels is in 18th place, posting a 5-over-par 149. Sophomore Cristina Baena jumped nine spots to be tied in 35th place with freshman Julia Kraschinski who jumped 22 spots to score a 7-over-par 151. Junior Christina Monteiro rounds out the UA lineup in 67th place, scoring a 13-over-par 157.
Tulsa leads the team race with a two-day total of 6-over-par 582, followed by Pepperdine, New Mexico State and Arizona State. Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh leads the individual race with a 5-under-par 139.
The final day of the three-day tournament is tomorrow with an 8 a.m. start and 18 holes of play.
