Wildcats Announce 2026 Cross Country Schedule

TUCSON, Ariz. — Arizona Cross Country has unveiled its 2026 schedule, a competitive fall slate highlighted by the annual Dave Murray Invitational in Tucson and a challenging postseason path through the Big 12 and NCAA Championships.
The Wildcats will open the season on September 4 at home with the Dave Murray Invitational before traveling to Chicago, Ill., for the Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational on September 25. Arizona will continue its regular-season slate at the Pre-National Invitational on October 16 in Terre Haute, Ind., ahead of the Big 12 Championship on October 31 in Stillwater, Okla.
Postseason competition begins with the NCAA West Regional Championships on November 13 in Sacramento, Calif., before the Wildcats return to Terre Haute for the NCAA Championships on November 21.
Associate Head Coach Jay Koloseus, who oversees the Wildcats' cross country program, is looking forward to the opportunities presented by the 2026 schedule.

Head Cross Country and Track & Field Coach Andrew Dubs echoed the excitement surrounding the upcoming season.
" We're really excited about the upcoming cross country season. We have two strong teams and are excited to improve from last season. Our schedule reflects our goal, which is to qualify for the NCAA Championship as a team. We will have some outstanding opportunities this fall, against some top-level competition, to earn points toward qualification. We are excited to get the season started on September 4 by carrying on the incredible legacy of Coach Dave Murray with the home invitational."
