Chepkemoi Named Big 12 Women's Runner of the Week

TUCSON, Ariz. – Arizona Cross Country runner Mercy Chepkemoi has been named Big 12 Women's Runner of the Week, as announced today by the Conference.
Chepkemoi finished fifth at the Under Armour Pre-National Invitational in Terre Haute, Indiana last Friday, clocking a time of 19:19.1 in the 6k. She has finished top-5 in both of her first two collegiate races.
This is the freshman's first conference accolade.
